Our Spring Summer 2019 collection was inspired by the designer's home country; Mexico. The first designs were all tops made to be paired with jeans. So that every woman, even in a hurry, could be dressed up in seconds while keeping the comfort of jeans. The second part introduced patterns and color to the Alantude designs. (Something we rarely get to see) And the last section used mostly navy and white with a variety of fabrics and textures to give new designs to the classic Mexcian shapes.
The show was at Alamo Tamales giving the guests an immersive experience into the life of Alantude. Complete with 10 foot tall dancing puppets as you walk in. Tamales for dinner. Piñatas all over the ceiling. Ballet Folklorico intermission. And ended the night with Mariachi and a party to celebrate the designer's mother's 50th birthday.
